Kierston M. Phillips, PC

At the law office of Kierston M. Phillips, PC, the emphasis is on providing top-quality legal representation with a personal approach. Wrestling with a legal issue can disrupt the rest of your life. That is why I focus on resolving your matter as efficiently as possible while always ensuring that we produce the best possible outcome.

A lifelong resident of Carroll County, I earned my law degree from The John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, and began practicing in 2013. In just a short time, I have shown that I am equally comfortable in the courtroom or negotiating for a fair agreement for a client outside of court. As a licensed and certified mediator through the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution, I know how to address points of contention in order to get the best possible outcome for my clients. In addition, I have training from the Justice Center of Atlanta in General Civil Mediation, Divorce Mediation and Practicum, Juvenile Delinquency and Domestic Violence Mediation.

Prior to law school, I graduated with honors from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, with a degree in accounting. I also earned a master's degree in public administration from the same university.

My practice focuses on variety of areas, including family law and criminal defense. I also help individuals maximize what they recover from insurance providers in personal injury cases, and I help individuals create wills, powers of attorney and other important estate planning documents.

I currently serve as:

  • Carroll County Conservator in Probate Court
  • Conflict Public Defender in the Griffin Judicial Circuit
  • Coweta County Juvenile Court (representing parents and children)
  • Villa Rica Municipal Court Public Defender
  • Associate Magistrate Judge in Carroll County
